BIO: First Aid Kit

First Aid Kit are a Swedish duo comprised of sisters Johanna and Klara Söderberg, whose vocal harmonies and woodsy, folk-influenced songwriting take influence from the likes of Fleet Foxes and Joanna Newsom. Hailing from suburban Enskede, the siblings began composing songs as young teenagers in 2007. The home-recorded "Tangerine" enjoyed airplay on Swedish radio later that summer, and the debut EP Drunken Trees helped expand the girls' audience upon its release in April 2008. The London-based Wichita Records reissued Drunken Trees one year later, bolstering its track list with a reverent Fleet Foxes cover and three additional songs performed live in a Swedish forest. The duo then set to work on a full-length album, balancing schoolwork with the recording sessions. The Big Black & the Blue was released in 2010, followed by Lion's Roar in early 2012

BIO: Tiller’s Folly

Tiller’s Folly, are the Pacific Northwest's critically acclaimed, internationally traveled, virtuosic ambassadors of song. For the past sixteen years, through 1,000's of performances stretching from the mists of the Pacific Northwest to the British Isles, they have spread their memorable blend of energy, history, musicality, romance and just plain fun from small and large halls to theatres and festivals. Hailed by critics (“Tiller’s Folly is a national treasure”. – Peter North, Edmonton Journal), their words and melodies are at once populist, minimally produced and poignant while at the same time singularly powerful and sincere.

With eight studio CD's to the bands credit, Tiller's award winning productions continue to expand and refine their potent mix of acoustic & electric based, Celtic influenced Canadiana, Americana, Newgrass 'and beyond.'

In 2008, Tiller's Folly introduced a multimedia component to their show including both modern and archival film footage and photography, adding sharp, captivating visual images and film designed to provide a whole new depth of understanding and enjoyment to an already impressive stage show. As a result, this is a show that the audience will carry with them long after the final note has played.

Fueled by their unfailing passion and enthusiasm for the music, Tiller’s is continuingly experimenting with different phrasing, tones and textures while recording with some of the most exciting and innovative musicians and singers in the business today as they continue to evolve as artists. Names like the phenomenally talented front man of the iconic group NewGrass Revival, John Cowan to Bob Babbitt (most famous for his work as a member of Motown Records studio band, the Funk Brothers, from 1966–1972, as well as his tenure as part of MFSB for Philadelphia International Records) and the late legendary session keyboardist Larry Knechtel have moved Tiller’s music to a new level of mastery.

Now, in early 2011 they are hard at work again on a new project that marks a fresh, new beginning for the band. In addition to current members Bruce Coughlan, Nolan Murray and Laurence Knight they will again showcase the vocals prowess of the masterful John Cowan, as well as introducing new musical collaborators like Josh Shilling (Mountain Heart) and Cia Cherryholmes (The Cherryholmes) along with the legendary Scottish Music Hall of Famer Phil Cunningham on accordion. Rounding out the musical guests on the album will be guitarist Jeff Autry (John Cowan Band) and banjo great Scott Vestal (John Cowan Band/Sam Bush Band).

With their new self-penned songs, new musical studio partnerships and an inexhaustible collaborative spirit, Tiller’s Folly is poised to breakthrough to the next level in 2011 and beyond

Tiller’s Folly is:

Bruce Coughlan - songwriter, lead vocals. Guitar, bodhran, flute, whistle

BIO: Tyler James

Tyler James' debut full-length record It Took the Fire will be released March 2 on Son of Geert Records. For the 27-year-old Nashville songsmith, it's a coming of age album. "I'm part of a restless generation known more for its apathy than for its voice," he says. "My songs are about the struggle to find my own truth." With his heartfelt approach and raspy croon, James sounds like an old soul. Citing influences from Paul Simon to Rainer Maria Rilke, he has a reverence for past masters that does him good. With meticulously crafted arrangements disguised as simple pop tunes, It Took the Fire is one part classic 70s, another part Memphis soul.

Co-produced with acclaimed producer Neilson Hubbard (Glen Phillips, Garrison Starr), It Took the Fire was tracked in four days at Nashville's legendary House of David Studios. "Like a lot of studios on Music Row, you often feel like you're standing on hallowed ground," James says. "I used Elvis' piano on the record and the studio still has a trap door entrance from when he tracked there." Highlights on the record include the title track, which rings out like an old spiritual when he sings: "It took the fire to save my soul/ It took the fire to change me/ Glory shown in the ashes blowin' away." Other songs range from heartbreak on the slow jam "All I Got," to coping with the death of a friend on the Randy Newman-esque "A Sailor's Tune."

Born in the Pacific Northwest, but raised in small-town Iowa, James has often been an outsider. "It was pretty much a few street lights and baseball diamonds surrounded by cornfields," he says. "I'm a Midwest kid at heart, but when you're young you don't see the value in it. Luckily I found a Dylan tape in my sister's pick-up truck one day and it changed everything." Once out of high school, James moved to Nashville and quickly found a home in the music community. "The talent here is overwhelming," he laughs. "I had the green knocked out of me pretty quick." James honed his craft while earning a college degree and eventually debuted in 2005 with the aptly titled An EP. Produced by Jason Lehning (Alison Krause, Guster), the release was met with critical acclaim, with Paste Magazine saying, "His vulnerable lyrics, uncontrived vocals and memorable piano and guitar arrangements make for a sound as accessible as it is meaningful."

James' songs have found their way onto television shows like ABC's "Brothers and Sisters" and MTV's "The Hills." Additionally, his song "Call My Name" (a collaborative effort with DJ Morgan Page) reached number 5 on Billboard's worldwide dance charts last year. James has spent the last four years traveling the country in his old VW, playing with the likes of Ben Lee, Mat Kearney, Diane Birch, Bobby Bare Jr., Denison Witmer and The Autumn Defense. "I can't tell you how many strange couches I slept on," says James. "I don't do much planning ahead in the hope of finding the back alleys." That approach would sometimes backfire on him. "I'd end up freezing my butt off in the back seat at some dark truck stop in the middle of nowhere," he says. More recently James was one of the founding members of Ten Out of Tennessee, an acclaimed Nashville artist collective whose tours aim to prove there's more to Music City than rhinestones and cowboy boots.

With the release of It Took the Fire, James seeks beauty in the mystic and purpose in the disillusion that has defined his generation. "I wanted my record to reflect the community we have in Nashville," he says. "I still have hope that there are people out there who get together with friends, open up a bottle of wine and listen to records."

About: Afterlife Parade

Singer/songwriter Quinn Erwin was at a crossroads. Having recently relocated to Nashville, he found himself surrounded by a series of losses in his own life and in the lives of those close to him. Compelled by a desire to comfort the mourning, Erwin suddenly found himself embarking on a new direction musically – one inspired by the notion that death is a homecoming, rather than a reason for grief.

“I couldn't recall if I had ever heard any songs about death that were triumphant and celebratory,” he explains. “So I made it my mission to write one.”

That initial inspiration became a verse. The verse became a song. The song would eventually take Erwin in an unexpected direction entirely, launching the creation of a band.

Afterlife Parade was born.

As a solo artist, Quinn Erwin has been writing and performing for the past 12 years. He released his first EP A New Day in January 2009 followed by the full length A Million Miles Away in May 2010. Most recently, he was the Grand Prize Winner of the 2010 Jansport Battle of the Bands and played at The Forecastle Festival in Louisville, KY alongside The Flaming Lips, The Smashing Pumpkins, Spoon, and She & Him. He was also named IMVU Artist of the Month in August 2010.

Released on January 31, 2011 and produced by Jeremy McCoy (bass player for The Fray), Afterlife Parade’s debut EP Death is the first in a two-part concept album of sorts. The songs focus on fate, the end of the world, the death of an ideal, and the comfort from the dying to the loved ones they leave behind. The companion EP Rebirth is due to be released in April 2011.

“Death, as an EP, is deep, dark and atmospheric,” Erwin says. “Rebirth is the exact opposite – it’s upbeat, percussive and a bit electronic.”

A fitting metaphor for an artist with many dimensions himself.

Afterlife Parade is...

About: Mountain Heart

The band was formed in 1998 by Steve Gulley, Barry Abernathy, and Jim Van Cleve. Johnny Dowdle was the original bass player. For a short period, Steffey left the band. During that period, Steffey was replaced by mandolinist Alan Perdue. After their debut album, Dowdle left the group, and was replaced by former James King bass player Jason Moore. After Steffey's return to the group, Mountain Heart added virtuoso guitarist Clay Jones to the lineup. In December 2006, the band announced that Steve Gulley would be leaving the group. On January 5, 2007, Josh Shilling debuted with the band at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, TN, and was announced as the group's new lead singer. The group received and astounding standing ovation on the famous Opry stage after Shilling sang one of his original songs. In September of that year, Jones was replaced by Grammy Award winning guitarist, Clay Hess. In December 2007, mandolinist Aaron Ramsey replaced Steffey, making his debut in Shilling fashion on the stage of The Grand Ole Opry. Clay Jones returned replacing Hess in January 2009, joining the band again at the Ark in Ann Arbor, the site of their 2007 (live) recording. Mountain Heart had been with the Skaggs Family Records label since 2002, but signed with Rural Rhythm Records out of Los Angeles, CA for a single record deal. They released their first live recording, entitled Road That Never Ends. This album has been critically acclaimed and highly sought after. A music video for Road That Never Ends was produced by Josh Shilling and landed the group a spot in heavy rotation on GAC and CMT.

Since 2007, Mountain Heart has been on tour with acts such as Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Punch Brothers, Marshall Tucker, Travis Tritt, Levon Helm, John Fogerty, Tony Rice, and many many more. After playing the Grand Ole Opry over 125 times, winning dozens of awards and legions of fans across the country, and assembling what is considered one of the strongest groups of musicians in acoustic music or any genre, in 2010, Mountain Heart decided to open their own record label. MH Music Group was born and their first ever self-produced/released project "That Just Happened" hit store shelves in the Fall of 2010. The album, which features guests like New Grass Revival front man & current Doobie Brother bassist John Cowan, legendary session drummer Eddie Bayers and guitar whiz Bryan Sutton received high praise from critics, even scoring a prestigious Four Star rating from Country Weekly Magazine.

In January 2012 the band welcomed into the group Seth Taylor, an eighteen year old guitar prodigy who has won numerous awards and shared the stage with the likes of Charlie Daniels and his mentor, Brad Paisley. In his second week with the band Seth got to share the stage two nights in a row with one of his guitar heroes, Tony Rice when Mountain Heart shared back to back dates with him in Georgia.

Mountain Heart has grown from a traditional bluegrass into a group that critics describe as "acoustic overdrive" and simply can't say enough about. Hints of rock, jazz, blues, bluegrass, country, and even classical music appears on stage every night these days. Mountain Heart is continuing to pave the way for musicians and music lovers across the world.

Singer song-writer from Canada, Four Studio albums to date. Living in Canada and currently in the studio working on new material. Back in the studio and rehearsing. I love sound and atmosphere, anything I write that I think is worth recording usually started with a noise or a sound that I try to make musical!

a beat or rhythm, human or a machine!! sometimes a word or a mood! a guitar riff or Bass riff

It all some how gets me there!!! we should embrace whatever technology we can get our hands on that simplifies the recording process.. so we can Create Music!!

I love Music and what it gives me and takes from me. but most of all I love Words!!

In the early days For me it was Bands like The Alarm, INXS, Midnight oil that I was gravitating to. I could sing those songs and we covered a lot of this Music.. the name of our first band was The Stand After a Friend introduced me to the Alarm song Spirit of 76.(Well I find Myself in reverie !!) Mike Peters

INXS Johnson's airplane was another favorite.

I was Born and raised in Blackpool England, and Brought to Canada at an early age..Some of My first Musical memories are of Slade on the Top of the Pops.

When we moved to Canada I saw Neil young singing Heart of Gold on TV! I was about 11 years old he was coolest guy and still is..

I have loved Writing music ever since!

Born into a musical family, the natural progression was for me to begin experimenting with my voice and guitar through the church choir at the age of 10. By age 14, my career began professionally. My first recording became the number 2 song on an album for the charity, “MADD” (Mothers Against Drunk Drivers). This recording brought attention to City Kidd’s manager who asked me to join. City Kidd evolved into the band now known as Tesla. I forged onto a separate path which led to a radio tour in Australia.

Moving to Nashville helped me hone my skills as a writer. I write with passion, about life’s experiences. 2000 was a difficult year for me when I lost my brother. After losing him, I wrote the song titled, “Can You Hear”. On Stella Parton’s suggestion, the song was released to Christian Country Music Radio and charted number 26. More info on my brother Jim, can be found in the Tribute link.

I have always been a strong supporter of the US Military. When my son joined the Army, I wrote You’re Gonna Fly” and made the song available to anyone and everyone related to someone in the military to thank them for their unselfish service to our great Nation. When my son deployed to Afghanistan, the song “Missing You” was born. I recently returned from an awesome USO Tour in Italy and am planning on returning to Italy in 2012 to visit our troops.

Performing throughout the U.S. and abroad has resulted in entering and winning multiple singing and songwriting competitions. I am a frequent guest at the nationally known Bluebird Café, and have done television and radio broadcasts. I have opened up for artists like Billy Dean, Paul Overstreet, John Berry, Lee Greenwood, George Jones, Mel McDaniels, Billy Ray Cyrus, Tanya Tucker to name a few. I have had the rare privilege to interview Mr. BB King and film his live performances over the last year. I am a frequent guest at BB Kings in Nashville. I have played large arenas, small stages, no stages and backyard patios. You can count on the fact I will give you all I have with each performance no matter what venue I choose.

• Sacramento critic, Mick Martin writes: "The most impressive of these is Colleen Lloy whose "Sooner or Later" is an absolute knockout. If this fine singer isn’t signed by a major label, there’s no justice in the music world."

• Nashville Music Guide Critic Brad Fisher gives Lloy’s "Life Challenges" CD a five star rating and writes: "This ten-song CD is an emotional roller coaster that runs the gambit of love. The tunes were either written or co-written by Lloy who has a beautiful set of pipes which she shows off on this album.”

Dezoriental: Orientalism Influenced World Music from France

Dezoriental-world-music-from-franceToday I would like to write a band from France. If you like to hear colorful world music, Dezoriental is a band for you. From the name of the band, you could guess their musical understanding. The multicultural band consists of French and Algerian members that their music root is Algerian music. Do not think that it is an Arabic band. Sometimes, you could hear melodies from Sahara Desert; sometimes, you could hear Arabic influenced Indian rhythms; sometimes, you could dance with hot Balkan music and gypsy music melodies. Is it only traditional music? Absolutely, no! Dezoriental also use Jazz, European music, gypsy music, French ballads, and the other world music elements. It is a good fusion of traditional eastern music and contemporary western music. The colorful band Dezoriental brings you a funny and cheery trip with their hot oriental rhythms and influences.

Dezoriental, World Music from France, Vesoul.

Dezoriental consists of six members from France and Algeria based members. The band’s official line up is Abdel Sefsaf (Vocal Drum), Aloua Idir (Oud, Guitar), Jean-Luc Frappa (Back Vocal, Accordion), Stephane Prost (Back Vocal, Percussion), Frederic Delluci (Tuba), and Laurent Falso (Drum). You could hear both contemporary music instruments and traditional music instruments in Dezoriental’s musicality. You could also hear instruments from different cultures performed by guest artists and performers. I suggest oud’s sound that you could read my article about an oud virtuoso John Berberian. I believe that you will enjoy hearing Dezoriental’s multicultural melodies with colorful eastern rhythms. I also suggest watching their live performance. You will appreciate it.

Dezoriental has two studio albums. Let us see their discography.

  • Dezoriental (2001) is a successful debut album that it contains more Arabic and Algerian elements. I suggest the enjoyable album. My favorite songs are Booster, Desert Blues, No Made in France, Dezoriental Trip and Trans Saharien.
  • Terra Incognita (2003) is the album that contains modern elements. I suggest the colorful album extremely. Vesoul, Aung Sann Suu (Queen), Jazz Hair, Soumelia, Leila, and Terra Incognita are my favorites in the album. Do not lose the rich cultural concept album.

Dezoriental is an exciting and colorful band that I suggest the band extremely. World music needs more groups like Dezoriental. They have never made any album since Terra Incognita album. I hope we could hear their more songs. I could not find their official website. You could check their pages and listen to more preview songs from Last Fm.

El Gueto Con Botas: Spanish Folk with Ska Rhythms

el-gueto-con-botas-spanish-folk-music-ska-bandDo you like bands combine folk music with modern elements? If your answer is yes, El Gueto Con Botas is a band for you. El Gueto Con Botas is a Sevilla, Spain based ska, fusion, folk music band. They combine Spanish and Andalusian folk elements with ska and related genres. I cannot say it is pure ska. It is Spanish folk music with modern rhythms. It was a good coincidence that I discovered the band and the band’s hybrid sound. I have checked their website, but it is only in Spanish. I think the band should announce their music to world music stage. I like their flute oriented sound with a perfect female vocal.

Visit for materials.

El Gueto Con Botas consists of eight talented musicians that official lineup is David Ruiz, Fran del Moral, Antonio Montes, Manuel Jesus Lopez, Lucas Hidalgo, Sergio Mateo, Frankie Corrales, and Isaac Espinaco. The band also has a female vocal but I do not know why it is not placed in the website. They use wide range of instruments that the variety carries their music to the upper level. Flute is the main instrument of the band. Almost all songs contain excellent flute melodies with ska rhythms. There is nothing to say about musical diversity, because the band’s sound is unique. I suggest the band extremely.

El Gueto Con Botas has only one album named in Flor de Frontera. I suggest the album extremely that the unique sound and flute oriented hot ska rhythms make you feel good. Noestare is my favorite song in the album. Hay duendes en el gueto, El amo de las bestias, La guerra no espera, Ahmed Ibn Jig, Para qué quiero yo más vivir, and Leprechaun Jig are the other beautiful songs. If you buy the album, you will never feel regret. You could buy Flor de Frontera album on

El Gueto Con Botas is one of the unique members of Spain’s rich folk culture. If you like folk music with modern elements, if you like hot ska rhythms, if you like flute sound, do not lose the band. You could visit their website to listen to Flor de Frontera album. Although the website is in Spanish, you could access the album to listen. You also could visit the band’s official profile pages on social networks to listen to their songs. I hope you will enjoy hearing the unique sound!

Melo-M: Great Cello Band with Perfect Covers

melo-m-cello-cover-band-from-latviaRecently, I write posts about violin performers. Today, I would like to talk about a cello band. I think I am in stringed instruments mood that I write more posts about this genre and performers. There are many cello bands. Absolutely, Apocalyptica is the most well-known cello band of the world. I heard many cello bands but, many of them have creativity and diversity problem. They make music in ordinary way. I discovered a cello band from Latvia, Riga. The band’s name is Melo-M. The band consists of three classically educated cellists. They rearrange and play well-known and reputed songs in rock music forms. I found them on YouTube first. I though it was an ordinary cello band until I heard their exciting music. It is very good to listen to songs I like in a unique form. The band’s name Melo-M name is derived from melomania. You could buy their album by clicking on the players.

Band members Kārlis Auzāns, Miķelis Dobičins, and Jānis Pauls are classically educated persons that they still continue their studies. Melo-M also shared the stage with Apocalyptica, Maizie Williams (Boney M), Robert Wells and some Latvian performers. I could say their live performance is as good as their performance in studio albums. I really appreciate their live shows. You could listen to such famous songs as: Mission Impossible Theme, Misirlou, The Final Countdown, Those Were the Days, Come Together, I Will Survive, Daddy Cool and more. Hearing rock and pop elements with great cello rhythms and solos is perfect.

Let us see Melo-M discography and my suggestions. You could buy their albums or songs, if you follow links in the player or website of the band.

  • Melo-M (2005) is a successful debut album. Rock on the Ice, Dzimta Valoda, Dzejnieks are my favorites. I could say it is amazing and exciting album. Do not lose it!
  • Singalongs (2007) is a perfect album that you could find many cover versions like Mission Impossible, Daddy Cool (with Maizie Williams), Take on Me, Ghost Busters, I Will Survive and more. I suggest the album extremely. Unique and exciting covers make you feel good.
  • Around the World (2009) is another cover album that you will like. Misirlou, Zorba’s Dance, Hava Nagila, El Condor Pasa and Greensleeves are my favorite covers in the album. I suggest the album extremely.
  • Phantasy of the Opera (2010) is the last album of the band. You could find some parts of famous classical music compositions from reputed composers. Barber of Rossini, Boogie Bumblebee, Diary of Carmen, Verdi (ct), and Gershwintime are my favorites. I also suggest the album extremely.

Babylon Circus: Ska and Reggae Meets French Music

babylon-circus-ska-reggae-gypsy-rock-france-musicToday, I would like to write about a French band Babylon Circus. If you heard never heard them, you will enjoy hearing their funny music. Babylon Circus combines ska and reggae elements successfully. Absolutely, it is not pure reggae or ska. The band combines those elements with rock, swing, jazz, punk, Balkan music, and gypsy music elements. The band was founded as a ska band but, they added new genres and influences in their musicality. Combination of funny music styles and genres make an exciting music. Although lyrics are in French generally, they also have English songs. Sometimes, both two languages are mixed in some of their songs. Their lyrics deal with political issues that they also have anti war themed album. I also suggest the named in Figli Di Madre Ignota, if you like ska influenced music with Balkan elements.

Babylon Circus consists of eleven members. A crowded lineup created instrumental diversity that some of members of the band are multi instrumentalist musicians. They generally use guitar, tambourine, saxophone, clarinet, accordion, flute, bass, trumpet, flugelhorn, timpani, trombone, tuba, barrel organ, and drums. I think it is enough to create funny music influenced by many genres. I have watched their live performance on the internet. I could say they know how to have fun, and let you have more fun. A jubilant effusion creates funny and exciting music. If you like dancing, do not lose the band! France, Lyon based band creates music for dancing like a crazy.

Let us see Babylon Circus discography and some of my suggestions.

  • Demo no. 1 (1996)

  • Tout va Bien (1999) is an EP that it shows development of their music. They improved their sound and musicality in this EP. Mister Spidon is my favorite song in the EP.

Au Marché Des Illusions, Paul, Ya Ka Fokon, Ah L'humeur De Meche, Don Quichotte is Not Dead, and Lundi 6H are my favorites. I suggest the album highly.

michal-jelonek-rock-and-violin-music-from-polandI really like classical music oriented rock music. Yesterday I wrote about Anna Phoebe who performs rock with her violin. Today, I would like to write about the other violin hero Jelonek. Michal Jelonek is a Polish musician and composer who perform rock music with classical music elements. If you like Anna Phoebe, you will like him too. It is really nice to hear classical melodies with heavy guitar riffs. Anna combines rock music with eastern melodies; he combines rock music with classical music. Both musicians are my favorites in this genre that I suggest them extremely. He also makes music for advertisements and movies. He released two albums in 2007 and 2001. I really appreciate the progressive line in his music that progressive elements make his music unique and original. He plays with nine musicians in his albums that instrumental variety is very good. He also has a metal band named in Hunter.

Anna Phoebe: Rock with Vixen of the Violin

anna-phoebe-rock-with-violinDo you like rock music with violin? If your answer is yes, if you like violin solos with hard guitar riffs, pay attention to Anna Phoebe and her albums. Anna Phoebe is a talented violin performer from the United Kingdom. I heard her performance in Oi Va Voi albums first. I really like her performance and I found her solo career albums that she is an excellent violinist. She hired by many musicians like Ronan Keating, LeAnn Rimes, George Michael, and Robin Gibb. It is only an introduction. After I write her career with the other musicians, you appreciate her and her musical talent. Although she worked with many musicians and groups, her solo career albums contain rock elements. It is really very good to hear hard guitar riffs under Anna Phoebe’s violin solos. Everybody knows Vanessa Mae. I could say Anna is heavy version of Vanessa Mae. She also called as Vixen of the Violin that it is very good description to define her talent. I hope you buy her albums and meet with her symphonic fascination.

This video has been taken from It is free to use material.

Anna Phoebe worked with many artist and groups that I wrote she worked with Oi Va Voi. She appeared in Travelling the Face of the Globe and Oi Va Voi albums. She was also invited to play in a symphonic rock band Trans Siberian Orchestra. She appeared in two albums of the band. I also suggest Trans Siberian Orchestra to rock lovers. Anna Phoebe joined Jethro Tull as a guest violinist and she played with them during Jethro Tull world tour in 2007. She also featured with Steven Tyler, Jon Anderson, and Paul Rodgers. She still plays with Jon Lord from Deep Purple. She worked with appreciated rock musicians that I respect her talent.

Anna Phoebe has two studio albums under her name that those albums combine rock with violin and eastern melodies. I suggest both albums extremely. I hope she could find time from working with excellent musicians to make new albums. Let us see her discography and my suggestions.

  • Gypsy (2006) is a successful debut album. The album was made with Angus Clark (Trans Siberian Orchestra). The album combines violin and eastern melodies with rock rhythms. Bombay to Beirut, Gypsy, Goddess, and Phoenix Hotel are my favorite songs. I suggest the album extremely.
  • Rise of the Warrior (2008) is an album that she deserves vixen of the violin nickname. The perfect album contains more rock with epic elements that harmony between riffs and her violin solos is perfect. Rise of the Warrior, Ballingoola, Dawn of the Sphinx, Call to Arms, Army of Souls, and The Journey Home are my favorites. Do not lose the album!
