About: Christina Peoples

Christina has shown a true passion and love for music and especially singing from a very young age. Born into a very musical family, she was surrounded by all types of music growing up from Classical to Classic Rock.

Influenced by her parents as well as several other members of her family, music became a huge part of her life early on. She performed in several musicals, concerts and operas throughout the years and had the honor to be chosen to sing as part of a small jazz ensemble with Doc Severensen at Phoenix Symphony Hall.

In recent years she has been chosen to sing the National Anthem for several major sporting events and recently was chosen to sing the National Anthem for the Freedom Rocks Concert with Phoenix based rock band CTS. With a vocal repertoire that includes several genres of musical styles such as Pop, Jazz, Broadway and Classical, Christina's YouTube channel has become extremely successful with currently over 5500 Subscribers.

Through YouTube, she has had her music featured on radio stations in Florida and the United Kingdom. Her YouTube listeners have described her voice as "ethereal and haunting," "pure and crystal clear,"

Christina currently lives in Phoenix, AZ with her husband and 3 children. She comes from a very musical background, all the way back to her Great-Grandmother who taught Randy Newman piano as a child. From an early age, Christina was surrounded by all styles of music, from Classical and Broadway to Classic Rock and Jazz. It became apparent at a young age that Christina was a gifted singer and musician. She also began piano lessons at the age of 6 and continued for several years. Music, especially singing, has always been her passion and joy.

Christina started her classic training at the age of 14 when she began private voice lessons. She went on to get her college degree in Voice Performance/ Opera from Arizona State University. Although she studied opera, Christina has always loved singing Pop, Broadway and especially Jazz. She has been influenced and inspired by several great artists including Barbra Streisand, Bette Middler, Frank Sinatra and her all-time favorite artist, Celine Dion. Even though she has studied the styles of these amazing singers, Christina's voice is one of a kind. She hopes to bring something new and exciting to the music world while keeping true to her classical background.
